Data modelling support

A key first step in publishing and exploiting linked-data is to determine how best to model it using linked-data and semantic web data modelling technologies. We have worked with clients to develop ontology solutions specific to the needs of the project. Some of the resulting ontologies are made public to encourage re-use and wider adoption, others remain as proprietary in-house tools.

We can help you with:

• understand the requirements, costs and benefits for addressing a particular problem through ontology design;
• designing suitable ontologies for modelling integrated data, adopting existing standards where possible or designing new ontologies or vocabularies when necessary;
• review and evaluation of existing ontologies as requirements become clearer.
