Edubase

Edubase is a central database of information on UK schools. As part of launching data.gov.uk the UK government, with the help of the team now at Epimorphics, published a linked data version of Edubase. This provided a definitive list of URIs to identify all schools within the UK along with core reference data. With the development of the linked data API we have since added convenient access to that data over a web-friendly API. See http://education.data.gov.uk/doc/school, which gives API access to the entire list of schools.
