New data catalog from the FSA provides food for thought

This week has continued to be busy at Epimorphics as we ready a number of new data services for our clients.

The Food Standards Agency went public on Wednesday with the Alpha of their new home for data data.food.gov.uk.  This includes a catalog – collecting together their open data with a great range of quirky, interesting and valuable data about food and food safety.  As I mentioned in a previous blog post, we’ve been working with them in a number of areas – exploring how data can support their priorities through connected data ecosystems.

The new home for the Food Standards Agency’s data starts with the datasets they currently publish, but will grow to cover some really useful and exciting data and new services as they build on their plans.
