The post explores how governments can deliver national-scale data more securely and at scale, drawing on practical experience running long-lived public data services. It looks at the challenges of modernising complex datasets without disrupting existing users, and how cloud-native architectures, strong metadata, and open standards can support trusted, future-ready data platforms.
