2019 Software Development Interns

As the end of summer is approaching, we are saying goodbye to the last of our software development interns. This year has been our fullest one yet, supporting four interns for twelve weeks over summer as they’ve each worked on different projects.

Here are our 2019 interns talking about their time here, and what they’ve been up to:

Célia Prat

Célia is studying her Computer Science degree in Toulouse. She’s been working with us to develop an internal data model validation tool. You can read more about it here.

Will Hartley

Currently, Will is studying for an MSc in Data Science at the University of Edinburgh. With a keen interest in AI, he was exploring the practicalities of using machine learning with linked data. You can read about his experience here, and the project here.

Charlie Haslam

In his second year of a Computer Science degree at Bristol University. Charlie has been working alongside Amy to create some internal tooling to help us manage projects and resources.

Amy Rafferty

Studying a degree in Maths and AI in Edinburgh, Amy spent the summer working on some knowledge-graph based internal tooling with Charlie.

Interning at Epimorphics

At Epimorphics, we’re keen on supporting the future of our industry the best we can and taking on software development interns each year has proved to be a successful way of doing so. We don’t just take students, those who are early on in their careers but need more experience are also encouraged to apply. We are able to provide mentorship for our interns to work on a project that can be taken to future interviews.

At the moment we take interns every summer for a period of three months. If you think working with us would be something you’d be interested in doing, please get in contact via careers@epimorphics.com
